NetSuite Admin Tip | Setting Up a Commerce Domain: What You Need to Know

When creating a domain, you must first understand the difference between a production (or live) domain and a development domain.

A production domain is used for your active, customer-facing site, while a development domain is intended for testing and making changes without impacting live users.

For development domains, CDN Cache can be enabled or disabled as needed, providing greater flexibility during development and testing. In contrast, for production or live domains, CDN Cache is always enforced and cannot be disabled, which helps boost site performance and reduce load times.
