NSC | Fixed Asset Management: Lease Creation Option Not Available

in Accounting / ERP

A user has already procured the Fixed Asset Management module but the Lease creation option is not visible or accessible within NetSuite. This issue prevents users from utilizing lease-related functionality despite having the appropriate module in place.

This issue affects all users across all roles, not just a subset. As a result:

  • Users are completely blocked from creating lease transactions
  • Lease-related processes and record-keeping are halted

For background, Lease functionality in NetSuite is implemented as a Custom Transaction Type. If the Custom Transactions feature is not enabled in the account, any transaction types dependent on it, such as Lease, will not be available for use or visibility within the UI.
