New to NetSuite | SuiteCommerce: Field Sets

What are field sets for?  

Field sets help you display information from your NetSuite Item Records to your web store. After the field sets are defined, developers can use them with the Item Search API to pull specific item data needed. 

Let us take it as an example that you want to display fields such as product name, images, description, availability, and price. 

There is a default details field set used in SuiteCommerce sites. If you have custom fields you want to display in the Product page, then you can include them on the details Field Set. 

If you are launching your SuiteCommerce or SuiteCommerce Advanced store for the first time, defining your Field Sets is an essential setup step.
