NSC | Voided Bills Showing as Rejected Instead of Voided
Scenario
A user noticed that several bills in NetSuite were first rejected and later voided, but the transaction status continued to display as Rejected instead of Voided.
The user expected the bill status to reflect the most recent transaction action and wanted to understand why the status was not updating correctly and how the issue could be resolved.
Solution
In NetSuite, when a bill is rejected and then voided, the expected behavior is for the status to update to Voided, since voiding is the latest action performed on the transaction.
Under the standard transaction flow:
- When a bill is rejected, the status changes to Rejected
