NSC | SuiteApprovals Records for Approval Portlet Missing on Employee Center Dashboard

Scenario

A user attempted to add the SuiteApprovals Records for Approval portlet to an Employee Center dashboard in NetSuite, but the portlet option was not available in the dashboard personalization settings.

The user had previously seen the portlet available in other NetSuite environments and wanted to determine what configuration or setup might be missing in the current account.

Solution

There are several possible reasons why the SuiteApprovals Records for Approval portlet is not available on the Employee Center dashboard.

1. SuiteApprovals Bundle Is Not Installed or Deployed

The portlet depends on the SuiteApprovals SuiteApp.

Verify that the SuiteApprovals bundle is installed and properly deployed in the account.
