The SC website is blank for a few seconds after logging in

Has anyone seen this issue in SuiteCommerce?
After clicking Login, the URL changes to MyAccount immediately, but the page stays completely blank for 2–3 seconds. No loading indicator at first. Then a small loading spinner appears in the top-left corner, and finally the MyAccount page loads a few seconds later.
Any idea what usually causes this?
