NetSuite UI Issues and Reliability Concerns
While testing user permissions for editing a Purchase Order (PO), I noticed what appeared to be an issue with our approval workflow. Once a PO is submitted, the workflow is designed to lock the record. However, a user with the "PO Edit" permission was still able to make changes after submission, which was not the expected behavior.
Interestingly, when I checked the same scenario again this morning, everything was working correctly and the record was locked as intended.
I'm fortunate that someone was with me during the testing, otherwise it would have been difficult to explain the issue to my managers. There were a few other minor UI and system inconsistencies as well, although I can't recall all the details now.
