Advanced Inventory Management

We are trialling the use of Advanced Inventory Management, and I have successfully configured it for a small subset of Items as a trial.

I have two questions:

Is it possible to exclude specific locations from AIM? We have two stores that have closed this year, but we have not yet disabled the locations. I did have the reorder points set to 0, but AIM has now set them based on previous sales. Is there any way to exclude these locations, or do I need to wait until we can disable the Location?

I have reviewed the options for 'Transactions to Consider' and determined that 'Actual Sales' is probably more relevant to us because:
