Net Off Invoice for Customer Invoice

Hi! Does anyone have a good way to show the customer a Net Off Invoice Price without using Custom Price on an Invoice. An example is as follows:

Customer X buys product with a list price of $5 and receives an allowance of $1. Customer X wants to see an invoice price of $4. Internally, we need to break out Revenue of $5 and Allowance (Discount) of $1. How to accomplish this??
