Is it possible to add a trailing space in Item Name and UPC Code?

Some UPC code provided by a vendor with trailing space, for example "+B428046400001 ", the length is 15.

But once it's imported to Netsuite, the Name and UPC Code will be "+B428046400001", the length is 14.

It seems Netsuite truncate spaces on the end by default.

Is it possible to have a trailing space in Item Name and UPC Code fields?
