Formula Help

I am trying to get the total needed to order to cover backorders. I thought it was simple but can't seem to return the correct data.


This is what I have set up that is not working. Can someone advise what the correct formula would be?

nvl({quantityonhand}+{quantityonorder},0) - ({quantitybackordered} + {quantitycommitted},0)
