EFT - CPA-005 Format
Hello!
We're currently testing creating EFT files for bill payments but we are running into an issue with the formatting. We got documentation from TD Bank (Canada) regarding how the file should be formatted and they use 1484 Byte EFT files.
However, we noticed that the CPA-005 on Netsuite formats this differently when compared to their sample transactions. Some examples are:
For the account number, the generated file right-justifies and adds leading 0s to make up for the 12 characters, like so:
000001234567
While the required format from the bank is:
1234567----- (it can be spaces instead of dashes as well)
Another difference that we found is that the generated file from Netsuite uses 0s in the trailer record and it also adds CAD after the header record.
