Shipping same items to multiple locations at different times - Use Case

Use Case:

10 widgets are shipped to Location 1. 2 Widgets are sold (SO's) at Location 1. Then 8 Widgets are shipped to location 2. 6 Widgets are sold at location 2 (SO's). 2 Widgets are shipped to Location 3. No widgets are sold. 2 Widgets shipped back to original location. Transferred to Quality control and possibly set to demo widgets versus new inventory

I have been dig, dig, digging to find a use case scenario for this to no avail.

Any suggestions? Please?
