Amending a Sales Order after WAVE.

Hi,

I am struggling to work out how to change a sales order after it has been waved, we ran a wave with 6 sales orders, the customer then wanted to change the sales order by removing an item, how do we do this? we tried to remove the pick tasks relating to the sales order but this did not work, we ended up having to delete the sales order then re-created it?

I am guessing there is an easier way?
