How to associate sales order with project task?

Is there a way to associate a sales order with a project task? I would like the materials sold from inventory on our sales order to be associated with the project task, but the "Job" field on the sales order only allows selection of project.

I know there is a suiteapp to put PO's to project tasks. Is there any way to get the SO costs to the project task as well?
