AE: Disable 'State' field within Vendor form

Hello,

Within the Vendor form > tab Financial > sub tab Tax Registrations there is a 'State' field. I would like to hide or disable this field. I cannot find this field when customizing the form. I've also looked to get this field disabled with the use of a Workflow. Unfortunately I cannot find the right state field within the field options.

Is there another way to get this done?
