How to fix an item's average cost due to 2 year old Inventory Adjustment that has the incorrect rate

I have an Inventory Item that has an incorrect average cost being calculated. This is due to an Inventory Adjustment record that is about 2 years old that was created with an incorrect rate. The rate on the IA record is far higher than it should be. We can't edit the IA record due to the age, created in 2020.

How can we fix the average cost calculation to reflect a true number? The currently calculated average cost is about 10x what it should be.
