Hide Duration Field on Time Tracking Record

We created a custom "Duration Increments" dropdown list that provides time tracking the way we want it. However, I can't seem to remove the standard "Duration" field in the Time Tracking UI. I went to our Custom Time Tracking Form and disabled the field it, but it still displays on the form. How can I remove it / hide it? Or can I?
