Why is the imported bank data from Bank Feeds incomplete?

Hello Gurus!

I have a situation where the bank statement has transactions which do not show up on the left side on the Match Bank Data page. So, essentially each month the number of transactions that get imported is fewer than the ones on the actual bank statement.

Is this a problem on the bank side? Or is it a problem on NS side? How does one troubleshoot something like this?
