Why is Blank screen encountered when opening Tablet Entry view on bookmarked URL?

We've rolled out tablets to the shop floor and are using them with Advanced Manufacturing to allow our machine operators to start/stop jobs and enter in production data. We've set the tablets with a bookmark so that the browser opens directly into the tablet entry view via the URL: https://562489.app.netsuite.com/app/site/hosting/scriptlet.nl?script=157&deploy=1&compid=562489&whence=#WorkQueue

After logging in the screen is blank. We've seen this same behavior on all 20 tablets we've deployed. We found a work around by first going to the main login portal URL: https://www.netsuite.com/portal/home.shtml
