How to Set Up Adjustment Periods with closed periods?
Company Need is to post journal entry for several months of 2022 transactions (Sales/COGS/Expense) of entity acquired mid-2022 but not posted into Company's NetSuite ERP. Transaction activity was collected in separate ERP system of acquired entity.
All 2022 Accounting Periods in Company's NetSuite are Closed. We want to avoid reopening any Closed Accounting Period because of the various risks.
Company does not use Multiple Calendars, OneWorld or Intercompany features, so any related functions/features are not of concern
Would Adjustment Period(s) work to post only Journal Entry for this stated need? Should only a single Adjustment Period be setup with Start and End date = 12/31/22?
