How to prevent backordered items from being released to warehouse on stock receipt?
Hi There
I have sales orders with items on back order.
For example SO001 has item A which is on backorder.
Item A is ordered from the supplier.
When item A is receipted and allocated to the location used to fulfil SO001, SO001 is released to the warehouse in a wave immediately.
Is there a way to stop the automatic release?
in this case, there are lines in SO001 which were closed initially (suitepromotion related 'freebies') because item A was out of stock.
These lines need to be reopened when the sales order is released to the warehouse for fulfilment.
