Is there Item Substitute or something similar to Oracle Product Master Data Management?

Our purchasing agent presented an issue regarding item substitutes or supersessions. In a customer service environment, Netsuite Item Substitute works well. If item is out of stock and has substitute, you're prompted offer another item.

In terms of tracking usage (or for lack of a better term - demand), we have a problem. So the purchasing agent dropped me a link to an Oracle solution. https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/supply-chain-management/23a/fapim/index.html#s20030070
