How to sort order of Unit Types drop down on Item?

edited Aug 22, 2023 1:02AM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Is it possible to change the default sort order of a drop down menu on an item card? I am talking about the primary purchase unit list in particular, but any drop down would be the same.

We have setup several different units of measure. The main one we use is Cases. Under cases, we have several different options (case of 2, case of 4, etc.) These have been added as the need comes up.

Due to this, the sort order when we click the drop down box on an item record is in the order they were entered. Say, for example, case of 2 was entered, followed by case of 4, and then case of 3. When we click the drop down box, it shows case of 2 first, then case of 4 underneath that, and then case of 3.

Howdy, Stranger!
