Why do Kits sometime show as negative in saved searches?

Hi,

I am trying to determine why the Kit quantity on a sales order/invoice saved searches shows us negative on some transactions. See screenshot below.

On the UI, the quantity is a positive number as well as it is related to a sales order.

When comparing the setup of these kit items, they all look the same. So, I can't determine why they don't behave the same way.
