What is the Incoterm impact on PO menu?

Hi expert,

As we know that on Transfer order has 2 incoterm "DAP & EXW", and has impact to in transit ownership on inventory master (purchase tab).

but on Purchase Order, there is incoterm field as well, what is the impact ?i cannot find any differences here. that field is just information only ?

need advice please
