How to prevent some users to set Custom price on Sales order?

edited Oct 30, 2023 4:38PM in Ask A Guru 4 comments

I'm seeking assistance with a specific task in my NetSuite environment. I want to restrict certain users, specifically those assigned the "Sales" role, from setting custom prices on sales orders.

However, I've been unable to find any role permission settings in NetSuite that would directly allow me to control pricing capabilities.

  1. Is there a method to prevent certain roles from adjusting the sales order prices, specifically custom prices, within NetSuite's standard configuration?
  2. If the above is not feasible, I'm considering an alternative approach where we restrict users from setting an item price lower than its manual cost. Could you guide me on how to implement this restriction?
