I am working on a script that would create a journal entry in NetSuite. The journal entry contains an 'entity' field at the line level which can accept any of the Customer, vendor, partner, etc., records as the value. In my use case, I need to set a vendor record as the value of 'entity' field which is of List/Record type. But I could find a couple of Customer and Vendor record pairs that share the same internal id. So for these records when I pass the internal of vendor record in suitescript, the system chooses the Customer record to set the 'entity' field. This issue occurs because of the Vendor and Customer records sharing the same internal id. Is there any fix for this issue to set 'entity' field with Vendor records in particular?
I have refered suitescript documentation and could not find anything helpful. Kindly give some input. Thanks in advance.
