How to use WMS to build assembly from work orders that are in staging bins?

edited Jun 7, 2023 7:35PM in Ask A Guru 2 comments

Hi,

Is there a way to access the work order that has WIP enabled from the staging bin when building assembly. We cannot access the work order from WMS application when it is staged throught Build Assembly process. For this looks like we need to use the Manufacturing Mobile application and then access the staging bin (provided that is made available).

Is there a way to just use one application for this?

UPDATE:

What happens is that, the operations team, pick the items and stage them in a staging bin. Then another team will need to pick the items from the staging bin and consume to update the work order. However the issue that the team faces is that they cannot tell in the staging bin if the items belong to Work Order 1 or 2.

Howdy, Stranger!
