Email Merge Multiple Recipients Include Customer Statement Attachment

My objective is to send past due communications both a body email message and attachment to multiple customers with multiple AR email recipients.

I followed the SuiteAnswer workaround for bulk email merge to Customers to create Contacts for each email, however, when I went to process the bulk email merge using the Contact Group, I’m unable to attach the customers statement to a contact email merge. Is there a solution for this?
