item fulfillment

I tried to import the tracking number from the item fulfillment. After importing, it had an error " configure the inventory detail in line 1 of the item list". So I went back to the order and entered the inventory detail with the bin and quantity. Once it was saved, the order was fulfilled. I could not import the tracking number any more. Is there another way to import the tracking number? Thank you!
