Reallocate Order Item not selecting future Orders by default

edited Sep 20, 2023 10:10PM in Ask A Guru 9 comments

Our users want to reallocate items on work orders. They can do this in 2 ways:

  1. Through the common screen Reallocate Items
  2. Go to the item line on a work order and press the 'Reallocate' button

When using the second way we sometime get an error, see below screenshot.

The first way is working on those cases so that means that at least there is supply.

Does anyone know why the no recommendation is shown?

What we also see is that the default selection in the recommendation screen is by default checking the nearby orders. While to our logic it makes more sense to allocate supply from orders which are further away in the future since that supply is not needed for some time. But by default those are not selected.
