Workflow Button Condition

I would like to have a Button appear on a Vendor Bill transaction, via WF.

Condition: accounting period < current period

Tried a bunch for formula's (like f.e. (to_date({today},'dd.mm.yyyy') > to_date(ConCat('01 ', {postingperiod}), 'dd.mm.yyyy'))) in the condition, but non of them work.

Our accounting periods are named as Oct 2023 etc

Wonder which guru can help me out, here ?
