File field missing in Report Filters (Current Inventory Snapshot)

While trying to customize the Current Inventory Snapshot, I noticed that the Description field is missing from the Filters page.

On the Report Preview page, the Description column says it's from Inventory Item: Description (Sales). Clicking the + Next to the Inventory Item file shows the field "Description (Sales)" in the list.

However, on the Filters page, when I click the + next to the Inventory Item file to show the list of fields, the Description (Sales) field is NOT THERE. 

This is the field I want to use as a filter! Why is it not showing up in the field list?
