How to set Cost Estimate Type once Class field has been set via Workflow?

Is there a way to have this be automatically chosen based on the item classification?

For example, if the classification is "stocking" I would like the cost estimate type to be "item defined cost". If the classification is "nonstock I would like it to be auto set to "Purchase order rate"
