SuiteBilling Subscription record - automatically create on sales order entry

In SuiteBilling, is there any option to automatically create a subscription record for an item which has been entered on a sales order? Or do we need to create the subscription record manually after the sales order?

Also, if I have created a subscription record after a sales order and invoice has been created, can I then link it back to the sales order and invoice?
