In Saved Search, Employee cannot view project labor that he approved

in Ask A Guru 4 comments

Can't find any support topics on this or SuiteIdeas. I must be not searching correctly.

We have a Manager, "JJS", who uses an Employee Center role. He has 4 subordinates.

When one of his subordinates works on a project that JJS is a Project Manager for, NetSuite will have him approve that time. If one of JJS' subordinates works on another Manager's project, that other manager will approve the time.

Conversely, if one of the other Manager's subordinates works on one of JJS' projects, NetSuite will have JJS approve the time.

That all seems to be pretty standard for NetSuite.

Now.... we have a Saved Search that we use for viewing time on projects. I assigned JJS to the Audience and added the search as a Custom Search to his Dashboard. The search seems to work fine, EXCEPT that, on projects that JJS is the Project Manager, he can only see the labor hours for his subordinates. He cannot view the labor hours for the other Manager's subordinates. These are all hours that JJS has approved.
