How to recognise revenue on gift certificates

I have a gift certificate in NetSuite, which I would like to recognise the revenue on. However, when I click the "recognise revenue" button I keep getting a notice (see attached) that the account in inactive, and that I need to correct the import file and resubmit.

What do I need to do/set up to be able to recognise the revenue?
