Attach Automation to new email window?

Is it possible to attach any kind of automation to the Email Message window that pops up when you go to a Project, click on Communication, Messages, Email?

Specifically this window:

Either a Workflow or User Event would be fine, but so far I can't find a record type to deploy either against.
