BOM error causing significant GL impact
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help. In the middle of March we created several new BOMs. 3 off a non-inventory item was included in these BOMs without the person realizing it comes in complete rolls and not sheets. The consequence is that the cost of these BOMs were 4 times higher than it should be, which is also then affecting the BOMs above it.
We've altered the BOMs, and any new work orders + assembly builds are showing the correct projected cost and GL impact. The issue is that we have ca. 150 assembly builds and work orders that had been completed. Changing the item quantity of the work orders and assembly builds does not work, nor does deleting the assembly builds and recreating them. The projected value and GL impact is correct for a short while after submitting, but then the system recalculates the projected value and GL impact to include the full cost of the now adjusted item.
