2FA using email

Our NetSuite is currently using Authenticator app as 2FA.

I need to create a robotic process to login to NetSuite and do some simple data entry. However, understand from the robotic developer that it is not possible for the robot process to login if the 2FA code is obtained from the phone app. They suggest I configure the bot login to use email code as the 2FA. I can't find such information from SuiteAnswer. Can someone point me how to set the 2FA for a particular role/user to use Email instead of app?
