Looking to build a report that tells me how many Sales Orders were approved on a given day.

I would like to create a report or saved search that shows me how many sales order were approved on a given day. The screen shot below shows me within the sales order the date that the action was taken, how can I translate that to a report.

I believe I am looking for the field orderstatus but I can't seem to find it when I am creating the report.
