Editing a Sales Order - Changing Customer account creates Item pop-up

Hello,

When we edit a Sales Order and change the customer account, we get a pop-up that says Please Choose an Item to Add. We have to click that pop-up numerous times (up to 40x) before we can take any other action on the sales order. Any idea how to disable this or bypass it?
