Multiple skews for Units of Measure

I understand and have used units of measure, the issues we are running into is when we order for example a case that has 10 units in it, that box of 10 is its own sku. If we then go and buy it in sets of 1 that is also its own sku. The way units of measure works is they will all share the same sku's and we wouldn't have that unique skew for ordering in sets of 1's. If I then make two items one for 10 and 1 for 1. The system will not know that the
