Prevent a Vendor from Appearing in Saved Search Results
Is there a way to have a vendor NOT appear in any saved search results? One that works 'out of the box' without having to try to do any customization or scripting or NetSuite magic?
Basically, corporate wants only certain people/roles to be able to view data about a particular set of vendors—whether that be in reports, saved searches, the vendor record itself, etc.
We have a workflow in place that accomplishes this for the vendor records themselves, but this restriction doesn't carry over into saved searches. Users are still able to freely use a saved search or report to pull up information about those vendors.
