I hope this message finds you well. I’m seeking your expertise to streamline the process of managing and analyzing daily price lists from multiple vendors in NetSuite.
Background:
- I receive daily price lists (excel or csv files) from approximately 300 vendors. These price lists contain the items they sell, and the items may or may not overlap between different vendors.
- The prices from each vendor can vary on a daily basis, and I need to enter these prices into NetSuite every day. by CSV import
- Because of this daily variation, it’s crucial for me to track and compare prices over time, both for individual vendors and across all vendors.
Requirements:
- Daily Price Entry Tracking:
- I need a way to track and display a list of items from each vendor over a specified period of time (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
- The report or saved search should allow me to view all items provided by a specific vendor, even if the same item is mentioned multiple times with different prices.
- Vendor-Specific Reporting:
- I need to be able to view a list of all items and their prices for a specific vendor on a daily basis, with the ability to see changes in prices over time.
- Consolidated Multi-Vendor Reporting:
- Additionally, I require a search or report that can consolidate and display item prices from multiple vendors in one view. This would allow me to compare prices for the same item across different vendors over a specific period.
- Historical Price Comparison:
- The solution should enable easy comparison of historical prices for each item across the selected period, whether viewed by a single vendor or across multiple vendors.
Objective: The ultimate goal is to efficiently monitor price fluctuations on a daily basis, easily compare prices across vendors, and track the historical pricing trends of individual items. and be able to filter the price as per latest update
Could you please advise on the best approach to achieve this in NetSuite? If there are any specific configurations, custom saved searches, reports, or scripts needed, your guidance would be greatly appreciated.

1- Search shows all products for one vendor but all items entries should be displayed (Search for All Products from a Single Vendor) :
- I need a search that lists all items provided by a specific vendor over a defined period (e.g., daily, weekly, monthly).
- This search should include every instance where an item appears multiple times with different prices. The purpose is to track how the prices for each item from this vendor change over time.
- Please ensure that the search results are sorted by item and then by date.
2- Search for all vendors shows the same product from multiple Vendors or the same vendor (Search Across Multiple Vendors:)
- I need a search that lists all items across multiple vendors, displaying each item multiple times if it appears from different vendors (or the same vendor) at different prices.
- This search should allow me to compare prices for the same item from different vendors and observe price changes over time.
Similar to the first search, the results should be sorted by item, vendor, and date.
