SuiteTalk REST returnAuthorization Serial Number (inventoryNumber) PATCH question

I'm having an issue updating the Serial / Lot number on an RMA item. All other fields update properly, but I'm not sure where to pass in the inventoryNumber. I've tried several variations and nothing seems to update it - no errors, but no update! Here is my latest attempt:

Am I missing something in the API Doc?! This shouldn't be this hard! Everything else on the item is simple! I appreciate any help. Thank you!
