Customer Merge Failed due to Large Transaction Volume

Hi NetSuite Community,

We recently attempted to merge two customers and noticed a few issues:

  1. When the user went into the UI to merge, NetSuite sent back and error saying Duplicate Entry contains too much data and merging can result in the timeout.
  2. Upon reviewing the two customers, we noticed that 1 has ~850 transaction and the other has ~1100 transactions.
  3. Where reviewing these transactions, we noticed that sometimes half of them are due to $0 value revenue arrangements with no revenue elements.

Has anyone found solutions to the above for merging and potential deleting of the $0 revenue arrangements?
