How to Managing Contract with Multiple Customers (Project Segment Structure)
I would like to ask for guidance or best-practice recommendations on handling Contracts with Multiple Customers in NetSuite.
Current Setup:
- Contract is configured as a Project Segment.
- We have 1 Mother Contract (e.g., Rental of equipment for 1 year / 365 days).
- The Mother Contract covers 3 different customers, and each customer negotiates their own rental period.
- Each customer issues a PO, and we create a separate Sales Order with its own Contract (i.e., Sub-contract under the same Mother Contract).
Client Concern:
When issuing SOs for each customer, they want to ensure that:
- Total rental days across all 3 customers do not exceed 365 days
