Automating Default Shipping Address to Use Most Recent Order Address
Hello NetSuite Community,
I'm looking for suggestions on how to automate our shipping address selection process for replacement orders.
Current Situation: When creating a new sales order, NetSuite defaults to the customer's shipping address from their first order placed. For replacement orders, our CX team must manually update this to the customer's most recent shipping address.
Challenges This Creates:
- Additional manual clicks for every replacement order
- Risk of orders being shipped to outdated addresses
- Increased customer follow-ups and support time
- Product loss from misdirected shipments
- Higher shipping costs for re-sends
Desired Solution: Automatically default the shipping address to the customer's most recently used address when manually creating new sales orders.
